  • Wittenberg, Unesco World Heritage, Germany:

The Luther memorials in Wittenberg recognized as World Heritage Sites, “they represent a significant milestone in human history and are of outstanding universal importance as authentic places of the Reformation.” The Schlosskirche (castle church), Lutherhaus (Luther’s house), Stadtkirche (town church) and Melanchthonhaus (Melanchthon’s house) are part of the heritage.

Center for reforming activities and the castle church, at the portal of which he displayed his 95 Theses on October 31, 1517, later became his last home, as well as that of Phillip Melanchthon, one of his closest disciples.
